To my mind, the egg "produced" the chicken because the chicken couldn't appear from nowhere.
If it is that so, how was the egg created?

The chicken appeared in our planet millions of years after the appearance of the dinosaurs. The chicken is the "descendant" of the dinosaurs. If the egg existed even from the jurassic period, it means that it is the egg that "produced" the chicken some million years later.
Yes, but this has to be an egg of a chicken to produce a chicken, not just an egg...
I have answered that. Scientists believe that the chicken is the "descendant" of the dinosaurs, as a result of evolution. Having this in mind we can say that the egg pre-existed before the appearance of the chicken, and millions of years later it "produced" the chicken. It's evolution!
